Use Google To Choose Right Lipstick And Eyeshadow With AR

Google is implementing interactive shopping experiences on the Google Shopping tab for consumers. Digital tests are allowed with AR to test products from collaborated brands on the front-facing camera digitally on their own.

Google’s Augmented Reality has provided some fun features and resources (AR). It built a technology earlier this year to search animals in 3D with AR. Google also introduces a fun and beneficial AR feature to help users shop online more efficiently. With the trial experience in Google Search, users can digitally experience cosmetics such as lipsticks and eye shades.

Users searching for beauty items from the partnering Google brands will find a way to check out their search results virtually. Users can click on templates of different colours to find the correct product. The shades of the shades can be compared.

Using the front-facing camera, users can also test their goods on themselves. When choosing the second choice, the camera feed is shown with a range of lipsticks or shades in the eyeshadows. This is similar to the AR used to “embellish” the user using Snapchat and Instagram filters, excepting the intent here that allows users to shop using the shopping tab of Google.

“If you’re shopping for beauty products, it’s difficult to make a decision on such personal items without trying them on. Say you want to know how sheer a lip gloss is how much pigment is in an eyeshadow or what a product will look like on your skin tone, it can be difficult to understand these things without seeing the products up close,” Google notes in a blog post.

Google has collaborated with maquillage brands such as L’Oréal, Estée Lauder, MAC Cosmetics, Black Opal and Charlatte Tilbury to allow customers to use their front camera on mobile devices to test make-up shades across a variety of skin-tones. With support from ModiFace data partners that provide AR technology for beauty brands and Perfect Corp, the creators of the popular YouCam Makeup app and other AR beauty technology, Google has developed a new feature.

Google notices that the AR experience itself isn’t considered an ad format and Google isn’t paying for participating products, said Google to TechCrunch. Google’s shopping tab was previously restricted to paying listings of items. This year Google revealed it would free up most of its shopping listings. Google will also show beauty, clothes, house and garden fans and experts tips who will speak in the Google Shopping videos about their favourite items.

Google Duo added a set of new l’Oreal Paris lipstick filters earlier this year that were available while calling your friends and family. video calling platform Google Duo Filters for Diwali, Halloween and other festivals were provided with increased options for reality. YouTube also released an AR for virtual maquillage trials last year.
