  • Visit the NSDL website for refund tracking.
  • Fill in your data such as PAN, Aadhaar and year of evaluation (AY).
  • Click on ‘Proceed’ after submitting the details.
  • Your income tax refund status will be shown on the screen of your computer.

  • Sign on to the income tax department’s e-filing site.
  • Now pick returns or forms from the view
  • Go to the tab ‘My Account’ and select ‘Returns of Income Tax’ and click Submit.
  • You should click on the acknowledgement number now.
  • Your income tax refund status will be shown on the screen of your computer.
  • You will get a message if the refund has already been processed by the department.
