WhatsApp is one of the greatest instant messaging programmes available, and while it isn’t as feature-rich or powerful as Telegram, it is always improving and adding new capabilities. For example, WhatsApp is releasing a new version that improves document previews.
WhatsApp is rolling out a new and enhanced document preview, according to WABetainfo. Previously, when you shared a document, whether it was a PDF, JPEG, or DOC, WhatsApp merely displayed a basic preview with the file type and name. That is to say, you needed to open the document to see what was inside. However, with the most recent WhatsApp beta version, the app now shows a rich preview of the material inside, allowing you to get a better idea of what’s inside.
📝 WhatsApp beta for Android 18.104.22.168: what's new?
WhatsApp is introducing a new way to view the preview of images and videos shared as documents. Certain beta testers may be able to use the same feature on some previous updates as well.https://t.co/RtSbCoMfx3

As you can see in the left image above, previews are currently of very poor quality. This could be due to the feature’s beta status, and we hope WhatsApp will be able to improve it so that higher-resolution previews can be displayed.
With the latest WhatsApp beta upgrade, a new document preview UI is being sent out. On the stable channel, it’s not yet generally distributed. You may sign up for the beta programme here or download the newest APK from APKMirror if you want to give it a shot.
WhatsApp has recently been testing a slew of new features. Soon, the app will have iMessage-style message replies, as well as the ability to move chats from Android to iOS and preview voice notes before sending them. WhatsApp is also working on a new feature that would transcribe voice communications automatically. New drawing tools will allow you to draw larger and thinner lines on photographs and videos in the meanwhile.
