The LIC Golden Jubilee Foundation has announced Scholarships on an all-India basis for students who have passed X/XII or equivalent with a minimum of 60% in the academic year 2020-21, in what can be regarded the best scholarship for meritorious students. Students who are eligible and interested in applying for the LIC Scholarship 2021 must do so before December 31, 2021.
LIC Scholarships are divided into two categories.
- Scholarships for LIC Divisional Centres on a Regular Basis
- Scholarships for Girl Children
Scholarships for LIC Divisional Centres on a Regular Basis
- A total of 20 regular LIC scholarships are available each divisional centre: (10 each for boys and girls) for kids from economically disadvantaged families who wish to pursue further education in the fields of medicine, engineering, or graduation in any discipline. I vocational courses through government recognised colleges/ institutes or courses in Industrial Training Institutes; ii) diploma course in any discipline and integrated course; iii) vocational courses through government recognised colleges/ institutes or courses in Industrial Training Institutes (ITI).

The LIC Scholarship 2021 is open to female students who have passed the Class X exam (or its equivalent) with at least 60% marks (or equivalent grade) in the Academic Year 2020-21 and are pursuing higher education in the 10+2 pattern for two years.
The LIC Scholarship will last till 2021.

Other LIC Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
Students who have received at least 60% in their previous final examination and whose parents/guardians have an annual income of less than Rs 1,00,000 are eligible for the LIC Scholarship.
LIC Scholarship Recipients
Candidates must have received at least 55 percent and 50 percent in professional streams and graduate courses in Arts, Science, and Commerce, respectively, or an equal grade in the preceding final examination of the course.
